The very first Bernadotte pieces were released in 1931. They were designed by the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte who has been one of Georg Jensen’s most popular collaborators. He was deeply influenced by the functionalist movement, and his sleek and sparingly-decorated style modernised the world of silver.

Especially foods with a high acid content should be removed as it may damage and stain the surface. Acidic foods include citrus fruits, mustard, ketchup, oil and vinegar dressings, spinach, rhubarb, etc. Clean the products using warm water and a mild liquid soap. To protect the mirror surface only use brushes with soft bristles or a soft cloth for cleaning
