Trianon

The new Trianon décor bears the hallmarks of a great classic... revisited and surprising! In 1810, Napoleon, who had always dreamed of settling in the Palace of Versailles, commissioned 80,000 meters of fabric from the silk manufacturers of Lyon, thus creating a rich and inspiring decorative repertoire. The order was delivered two years later, just three months before Napoleon’s exile to Saint Helena. As a result, the fabrics were never used and have been preserved ever since by the Mobilier National.
